Washing your face is no rocket science . There is really not much to it . But it is surprising how many of us don’t really wash right . Here are a few tips which will help you achieve a clean yet hydrated look.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT FACE WASH
A face wash that dries the skin is no good. If your skin feels tight , then it is obvious that your facewash is not right for you. A right Ph balance is very important. Another significant point to be taken into consideration is the texture of the facewash . A gel based facewash or a foaming facewash is invariably harsh. Although the bubbles or the white foam may look attractive , it is actually stripping your skin of its natural oils . On the other hand a facewash with a creamy texture would do wonders . Your face will feel cleansed without the tightness . A cleanser like Green Juice which is rich in avocado , matcha , almond and parsley will leave your skin baby soft and hydrated.
CHECK THE TEMPERATURE OF THE WATER
The temperature of the water also plays an important role when it comes to washing your face . There are many of us who find hot water very comforting . The truth is that lukewarm water works best for the face.
WASH YOUR NECK TOO
The neck cannot be neglected. While washing face, use circular motions, to gently clean and remove the debris. Use upward movement on the neck to clean it well.
DO NOT RUB YOUR FACE
After washing your face , use a soft towel and pat dry . Rubbing your face will only irritate the skin . Pat gently to remove excess water.
